Posted onVerified Active Sailing I found Kašteli sailing through instagram and very soon we booked my girlfriend the active sailing tour because we need more practical exercises. After our first tour we booked a second one straight away because it was a pleasure to go through the sea with skipper Marin. He is very attentive to requests from guests, very friendly and professional. We have learned a few new things from him and plan to spend much more in the future together with Kašteli sailing to become just as good as Marin in sailing. If you are a group of friends they can adapt the sailing tour according to your needs. You can make stops for swimming and relaxing or spend more time just sailing. Since we were more interested in sailing we had an opportunity to steer the boat and participate in tacking/gybing and trimming the sails. Our skipper Marin was very friendly and he gave us lots of good instructions and sailing tips. We truly enjoyed our time and looking forward to coming back for another tour. We all had a chance to get involved with the different roles of sailing the boat and Ivan talked us through what to do and gave a nice background to us who were complete beginners. We also got to enjoy a nice bottle of local wine on the boat, and we stopped near a beautiful beach to have a swim.
